More maximalist elements are taking over 2026. We’re talking bold moments from colour, texture, and patterns.
Trend 1: Creative Cat eye nails. This gained popularity again last year but this year the boundaries of this style are getting pushed even more and being used in different ways. From layering with different nail trends, creating French tip designs, etc.
Trend 2: 3D elements. Raised texture on the nails from 3D gels, flowers, charms, etc.
Trend 3: Plaid and fabric-like patterns. We’re seeing this a lot more, especially layered with other nail designs like cat eye.
Trend 4: Micro Nail Art. From mini hand-drawn designs, dotticures, tiny rhinestone and charms, symbols, etc.
