Hey guys! I’ve got another nail polish review for you today. This review features Polka.com by OPI form the Spring 2013 Euro Centrale Collection. I love love love glitter topcoats and this one definitely did not disappoint.
The look: Polka.com is a clear-based top coat with large blue and fuchsia hexagonal glitter pieces as well as smaller round blue pieces.
The application: The application was very smooth which is not typical of most glitter polishes. They usually leave a gritty, thick texture behind but this one did not. For the first coat application, I got quite a bit of glitter pieces on the brush which is awesome because I didn’t have to add like 5 coats of polish to see the glitter pay off (again, not typical of glitter topcoats). Because the glitter pieces are so large and spread out in the formula, it’s pretty easy to separate the glitter pieces for different designs if you wanted to.
Conclusion: This is definitely one of my fave glitter top coats. The only thing I would say is that the formula could use just a litttleee bit more glitter pieces, just a bit tho lol. Other than that, lovely!!
