Essie – Eternal Optimist (Review)

Essie - Eternal Optimist

Hey guys! I’ve got another nail polish review for you today. This review features Eternal Optimist by Essie. This is shade is a dusty rose colour with an opaque creme finish.

The look: I decided to try this particular polish because a. I’m a die hard fan of Essie polishes and b. surprisingly I don’t have a shade like this in my collection.

The application: The application was very smooth and provided a lot of colour payoff in one single coat which is almost rare for most light coloured polishes. Most light coloured polishes especially white and pink tend to come out very sheer and require gross amount of coats just to cover the nail lol. For the swatch above, I only applied 3 coats! This shade is pink is perfect for spring, weddings, if you just need something subtle, and compliments any skin tone. It’s great for pretty much anything really lol.

Conclusion: Any light-coloured polish that gives that much colour payoff in just 3 coats is a winner for me.
