Indie Expo Canada – First Ever!

Indie Expo Canada

Polish Con NYC has passed, and now it’s time to gear up for Indie Expo Canada 2017!

What is Indie Expo Canada (IEC) ?

Founded by Owner & Creator of Girly Bits Cosmetics, Pam Heil, Indie Expo Canada is taking place this year in Toronto, Canada at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on June 3rd-4th. This is an expo showcasing small  and independently-owned businesses within the beauty industry. Not only will you find some of  your fave Indie Nail Polish Brands, but also, many amazing beauty care products as well.

IEC provides the opportunity to explore incredible independently-ownned beauty brands and also to connect experts in the beauty industry, along with many beauty lovers in Canada and from around the world. See full Expo Details here.

Day 1 (June 3rd, workshops):

Day 1 of the expo will be packed with workshops by talented nail artists and experts in the beauty industry.

Day 2 (June 4th, expo day):

Expo day, 10:30am-7pm. There will be beauty product vendors, nail art tutorial tables, workshops and demos, meet and greets, and Q&A sessions with top bloggers and Youtube vloggers, a nail art competition, and tons of fun!

I will be at IEC!

Katherine from Procrastinails and I will be hosting a tutorial table that teaches several nail art techniques such as dry marbling, freehand, water decal application, smoosh nails, and galaxy nails. Make sure to stop by and say hi! You can sign up for our tutorial table here.

There will also be a silent auction with all proceeds going to Mount Sinai Breast Center in Toronto.

EVENT RECAP

Indie Expo Canada was a success and I’m so glad to had been part of it not only as an attendee but as a volunteer and tutorial host! I didn’t get as much nail polish lovelies this time around as my bank account is still crying from the Polish Con NYC haul LOL BUT I still managed to score some haha. A HUGE shoutout to Pam Heil of Girly Bits Cosmetics for making the event happen.  Check out my quickie vid of the event! *mwah*.

I love going to these events you meet so many great brands at their early stages. You might also get to meet the owners of the company as well. Totally worth attending, thanks for sharing
