Clionadh Cosmetics - Paleo Palette (REVIEW)

K, let’s take a second to talk about this eyeshadow palette that is just giving me LIFEEEE! What drew me to the Paleo palette the most has got to be the packaging. I’m a sucker for product packaging, I just can’t get over it. That, with the shadow colour choices, just sold me right away.

About the Product:

The Paleo palette features the 12 shades inspired by prehistoric times: Glacial, Tectonic, Arctic Waters, Epoch, Fossil, Molten, Crystalline, Archean, Fissure, Pangea, Trench, and Crater.

Retail price: $65 CAD (approx. $48.75 USD)

Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Iron Oxides, +/- Ultramarines, +/- Chromium Oxide Green, +/- Ferric Ferrocyanide, +/- Bismuth Oxychloride, +/- Manganese Violet, Zinc Stearate, Calcium Carbonate, Kaolin, Silica, Allantoin, Magnesium Stearate, Isopropyl Myristate, Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, Dimethicone, +/- Parfum

The review:

I picked this bad boy up at Indie Expo Canada a little while ago, and I’m so so in love with it. What I like most is that they are super pigmented on light and darker skin tones and the colours suit just about everyone. The palette features very cool tones to very warm tones. Some are matte, some are shimmers, some are duochromes (aka colour-shift). A little goes a long way. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this palette. I was a little uneasy paying that much for an eyeshadow palette at first but honestly, it has been worth every penny. Although, the eyeshadows are not waterproof, they last very long and won’t just disappear throughout the day. One thing I also noticed is the palette container is thinner than most palettes so it feels really light and easy to bring around.
